The Academic Plan is compiled annually by the Office of the Provost to document the status of academic programs at the University and to identify academic program initiatives for the subsequent five years. Compilation of an academic plan is provided for in the Illinois State University Constitution (Article IV, Section 4.D). Inclusion in the plan of academic program changes and program review results meets reporting requirements of the Governing Document of the Board of Trustees (Section C.1.III and Section C.1.V, respectively). The Academic Plan is reviewed by the Academic Senate each May and by the Board of Trustees each July. The current Academic Plan includes the following elements.
