Executive Director of the Office of International Engagement
The Provost’s Office is pleased to announce the finalists for the Executive Director of the Office of International Engagement at Illinois State University. Open forums for the candidates will be March 14, 15, 16, and 17 in person or via Zoom. The campus community is invited to attend the forums.
The new Office of International Engagement (OIE) will officially be launched on July 1, 2022 and will merge the Office of International Studies and Programs and the International Pathways unit. The Office of International Engagement will be composed of the main office, International Pathways, International Admissions, International Student and Scholar Services, Study Abroad, Management Development International, International House and Special Programs, Academic English, and Business and Financial Services. The Office of International Engagement will also house the Study Corner which is a tutoring center for students enrolled in academic English or a pathway.

Dr. Roopa Rawjee

She received Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Bombay. She received Master of Arts degrees from the University of Bombay from California State University, Northridge. She received a Doctor of Education from California Lutheran University.

Dr. Ji-Yeung Jang

She received a Bachelor of Arts from Jeonju National University of Education. She received a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Minnesota.

She received a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College. She received a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Illinois, Urbana.
